I have run into this problem before with my credit card. I ended up calling my credit card company and they automatically put a hold on my account (didn't Notify me) because the transaction was international. Once I verified I wanted the transaction to go through, I didn't have a problem. It may be worth a shot to call and just say you are trying to order something online (no need to say what) and that it is refusing your card and you cannot figure out why. Good luck!

I had a new card because I openned a checking account for my online orders and my order would not go through until I called my bank and told them to okay that order. They told me from my bank that it was a weird way to charge the account and they were concerned about the transation.

Call your CC and tell them you are placing an international supplement order, Ebay or some other of a million tales. When the processor checks your card for authorization, your CC is already aware of the incoming charge from out of country. This has worked for me several times. You usually only have to this ONCE per source you use after their processor and your CC get acquainted.

Any canadians or NE Americans receiving? I ordered the DHC last winter when this company was around briefly before getting busted I thought. Is the packaging still as obvious? I received the one order I payed for in a timely fashion..... somehow it made it through customs. Was in a bottle and rattled like crazy. It now lists blister packaging which i hope is how they now ship. SO any North American people receiving? THanx

Why is that that the U.S. Docs don't prescribe DHC? I have always viewed it as a logical step between Codeine and Vicodin but as you say the tendency in the U.S. is to progress from Codeine straight to Vicodin. My S.O. is a nurse says they view it as to similar to codeine to really be of any difference, hence if codeine not working neither will DHC. I personally find DHC a great help. It helps me deal with my chronic pain but doesn't have nearly the side effects as codeine such as constipation and "foggy" mind. Any one out there know the answer to why we don't see more DHC prescribed in the states?

I totally agree. DHC to my body chemistry is WAY different then codeine.

Do you find that DHC, when taken in higher amounts, has a more pleasurable feeling than codeine? Just wondering...

Ordered on 1/2, shipped on 1/4, received today 1/9. I must say these folks do a bang up job! My first order came in 7 days, this order 5. You just can't beat this place for DHC! Chiefs7 I take DHC in high doses because I have a high tolerence to pain meds. I usually start by chewing 2 continus 120mg tablets and depending on amout of relief obtained I may have follow up doses. I chew it to get the full benifit of the DHC imedietly. As for a more pleasurable feeling I would have to say yes DHC gives you that, for if I took enough codeine to eqaul the dose of DHC I would puke my guts out. I am in no way suggesting anybody do the same as everybody has different tolerances and reactions. I buy the 120mg DHC as it is a much better buy mg for mg verses smaller dosed tablets.I just wish I could purchase more than 1 bottle per month as I like to stock up in the event P4U were to close up or the source dry up. I have high regards for this place as I emailed them to make sure the product was in stock, they got back to me within an hour, I placed the order they shipped it 2 days later and 5 days after that I received.

Try purchasing a pre paid CC to cover the amount,probably get one at walmart. I live in the US and received my last order in just 5 days after it was postmarked, first order 7 days.

Hey, Do those prepaid cards have that code on the back. The order form ask for the security code I think they are 3 or 4 digits?

Any let me know I havent heard back from them and I am not sure they got that message seeing as I didnt complete the order.

I regular CC on the back has a code that some vendors ask for[security code]. This prevents somebody that say just has your 16 didit number and exp date on the front from using the card.

If you have a CC just look on the back of the card and you will see it.

I was wondering if the prepaid cards have that because that sites checkout asked for it to complete the process.

For UK customers do they accept debit cards too?.

I mailed them about credit/debit cards but no response. If i mail them about products they are quick to respond but never about payment method or credit debit cards.

Do they accept maestro, solo, switch and all debit UK cards or UK credit cards?....Also would or do they accept debit card with a Visa sign on it?

Do they also offer next day delivery?

Moral I ordered around the 28th with my Visa and I had no trouble. I did get that message about my Visa being Verified and it shows up on my account which is fine. It went through no problem.

I did notice my orders take longer to get to me. I know I may wait a month.

The processor asks for the name of the bank issuing the card.Other than that there has been no problems.Does take 3-4 weeks to Eastern U.S.
If nothing works and they do not solve the problem might try a Greendot type of prepaid Visa-specify international use.

Do these have to be purchased in a store and then loaded online? Or can i get a "virtual card" with out leaving my computer?

I've given up on Prescribe4u. They were so great earlier last year, and it sounds like they are back to their old great selves. They've got all the wonderful products they had before, great customer service, and amazingly good prices. It's like the perfect IOP. Except I can't use it. I've tried 2 different credit cards, and I've tried entering my personal information and the banking/CC information in a myriad of different ways. It never works. Everything I provided matches my CC perfectly, but still it never passes their Fraud Checks, whatever that is.

It sucks, I waited so long for them to reopen after my great experiences with them last year. And now I can't place an order. But congrats to everyone that can, you've got a great place here, hpoefully it stays around.

A quick update.

I sent an e-mail to them about using pre paid visa and master cards. They replyed saying as of now they are only taking visa CC.

But they expect in a month or so to be able to accept the pre paid cards. I ask for them to e-mail me when they can do that.

When I hear something back,I will post it.
