Protein ingested with low cal diets prevents muscle wasting.

@MMYP LOL,man all that is so over my head.I use the injection in the muscle.I use 125mg daily for 30 days on 30 days off.Should I use more? Would that help?

@stressedout no worries and no need to apologize. Most would respond the same way, that is why I wanted to make people aware of
what PCOS is.I hope some day they will be a cure for this.Sharing one's struggles with another lightens the load smile

If you are going to use HCG you are doing it right by injecting into the muscle.

Yeah some of my technical posts tend to be thread killers...

No.

HCG is a hormone. It is made up of 244 amino acids but it's a hormone not a protein.

Ingested does NOT equal sublingual. HCG when prepared into a tincture can and does get absorbed sublingually into the bloodstream.

"Putting urine from preggers into your body sounds pretty nasty.

No thanks, not for me."

I didn't do a direct quote for this one because it was the dumbest thing I ever read and I didn't want to further embarrass the author of the quote.

I started on HCG about a month ago and have already lost 38 pounds and 4.5 inches. It really does work and is worth trying, and seems to me an option that is just as or perhaps even more effective, cheaper (definitely) and less invasive and painful than lap band surgery, stapling or other surgical options. Having a doctor supervise it and also give you ideas about diet, exercise, etc as well will help make the process a great success. I have avoided most other diets that have been out there in the public consciousness prior to this because they all seemed gimmicks that did not change the basic habits that got me into the weight mess I was in to begin with. HCG is very different. It is a treatment designed to create and sustain long term change.

And NO, it is not a pregnant woman's urine - Ron is right in saying that quote is among the dumbest things ever written, along with "Osama Bin Laden is a really nice religious guy, he is just misunderestimated", "The Pope is doing Mass in Italian!" (call me crazy, but he is in Rome) and "Hey, the government can't do that - the Constitution says so!". HCG is a naturally occurring hormone that, in pregnant women, tells the body to direct excess calories to the developing baby rather than storing it into fat cells. In non-pregnant women, and non-pregnant men for that matter, it directs the body to burn fat cells first rather than storing them. But you will however, both for men and women, come up positive on a pregnancy test were you to take one. (As a man, I am still trying to figure out how to make some money on a side bet with that!)

Essentially, if I understand the mechanics of the genetic interactions and relationships involved, HCG retrains your metabolism so that the mechanisms of the metabolic process continue to work in a retrained way, burning fat first rather than storing it first, even after you stop taking the HCG directly. (Ron, you might want to correct me about this part if I misunderestimate...err, that's to say if I got it wrong).

Also, as my understanding of how complex the human body is grows, I am just that much more amazed and astounded with how God put us together - the human body is well and truly a divine masterpiece. I started the HCG therapy to start taking better care of mine. Works of art increase in value as the appreciation of them grows. As I grow older, my appreciation of the miracle that my own human body is humbles me beyond measure. If I can use HCG therapy to lose weight and get healthier, then that is an opportunity and a responsibility that I need to embrace. HCG makes it easier to do so, and to do so permanently and for a long term health that will last far longer than a gimmicky diet that will have me back to obese as soon as I stop. If you are in need of losing weight, I strongly encourage you to consider trying the HCG therapy as well. It is the first diet I have encountered that really works.

(PS - Sorry to hear about your arm being in a cast mmyp! I hope that you get well soon.)

By the way, I forgot to mention that I receive the daily (self administered) injections, which are not bad at all. Learning how to do a shot properly was the hardest element of the shot part - they are not at all painful. I thought I ought to mention the way I was taking it. From what I understand, the sublingual and other forms of delivery of HCG are not as effective as injections are - then again there are far more knowledgeable folks on the Board about this topic than I who would know whether this is accurate or not. It does seem logical, and I would say that the injections work well for me at any rate.

I am seeing a local doc because of the injections, which require a way to inject, which in Texas are only available by prescription. I also go to a doc here because, believe it or not, it is the same price as getting it online, and you have the doctor's support and knowledge backing you up. She also, as part of her standard routine with HCG, prescribes an appetite suppressant (Bontril SR 105mg qd) the first 60 days to help with the change in habits and diet.

HCG therapy is, in my view, just much more effective with a doctor. The support and information she has on offer is worth a lot, and the whole thing is about the same cost as what getting HCG online and doing everything that is done for you would be if it was ordered online.

In short it is just simpler and more effective to see a local doc. You should check your local area - lots of physicians are starting to work with HCG as the medical community begins to discover how effective, and efficacious, it is.

Ron,

There may be a state by state listing of docs who are doing HCG now. Let me do a little research and see what I can find out.

Hey Ron,

I tried checking around and couldn't find a comprehensive list, although there are some partial ones out there, usually affiliated with one commercial interest or another. I had a bit of luck simply Googleing "HCG doctor list". Google is probably your best option.

Sorry I let you down on this one! Take care.

Simpler yes, cheaper no.

Releana is a patented sublingual formula that has doctors all over the country who are authorized to distribute Releana. One is 20 minutes from my house. It's $100 for the consultation and $300 for the Releana.

I can purchase real, freeze dried 10,000 i.u. of HCG for $60 which will last 40 days. I don't need to pay someone to watch me eat 500 calories a day and give myself 2 doses sublingually of HCG.

The HCG is real not only cause the websites are recommended by people who have successfully bought real HCG from them but a cheap pregnancy test will tell me they are real.

Ron,

I am still trying to figure out how I can win a side bet by telling people I am pregnant and then proving it with a pregnancy test.

Oh well......sigh

I chose to order online and mix and inject myself. It is so much cheaper and you can check the potency with a pregnancy
test you can buy at the drug store.
