I've never had a problems with customs before, this seems very odd. They normally put on the customs declaration sticker that the contents is worth $14.00 (well below the customs duty fine). Java Juice when you receive your package please let us know what the customs label states. I wonder if they opened the package and checked the contents. I'm getting worried now:( Nor I, ever. It is rather disconcerting to say the least. my previous packages have stated $20-$25 value. The one sitting at my local sorting office should be in the same range. However I think customs just think of a number based on, oh, the phase of the moon. I was charged £13.68 of which I understand £8 is a minimum standard customs administration fee. Reading and asking around on the subject. I think that I've just been unlucky, and have been singled out this time to pay duty. I know the stated amounts on the label are lower than the minimum taxable amounts, but I don't know that it will stop C&E slapping a charge on it if they feel like it. Gonna argue with them? :-))) I've no idea if they opened it or not. The RM have it now, I've paid the fee, and I'm expecting it back at my door ASAP. Wonder if I'll get hammered on my next order, which is aready in at UP?? Hmmm.. Java

Mine, as I said earlier, came with the exact contents of package, the meds names, the strength and how many, listed on the customs sheet. That realy bothered me so I emailed them to ask why.
Luckily, I don't order anything of any real value except to me and my shipments are quite boring, but it really bothered me that the names of the meds were on the outside of the package.
Anyway, they told me that because I used the express shipping option, they have to declare exactly what is in the package and if I did not want that listed on future packages, to use the non-express shipping option where they will just put "health products" on customs delcaration sheet.

Java Juice when you receive your package please let us know what the customs label states. I wonder if they opened the package and checked the contents. I'm getting worried now:( UPDATE: After getting the card through the door and paying the fee, I had the package redelivered today, Sat 15th. At least it came back to me fast. The amount of goods I ordered were small, on earlier orders of this size it would be normally listed as, say, 20USD max, maybe less. In fact it was 1 box of zopiclone "filler" order just to make up my reserves. It wasn't my bad luck to be picked for a fee, oh no: SOMEBODY PUT 50USD AS THE DECLARED VALUE !! :-(( This was hard printed onto the usual stuck on customs label that UP send out from HK, not manually written. Usual generic products type description of contents etc. Nothing out of the ordinary, except the flaming value of the order!! The package was not opened. It still had the clear tape on the box. It had a customs label with CHARGE and all the standard blah blah details of what I owed them and why written on it, stuck to front side of the box. I truly hope this isn't a regular thing in the future, could get expensive. I would e-mail UP politely about it, but I'm afraid they might think me some form of troublemaker and stop conducting business with me. ** big sigh ** Java
