Received several orders, per usual, it came very quickly. I have ordered 5 times now from United, not a single problem ever, and usually very very fast shipping.

I just used them for the first time. My meds came nine days after I ordered. I am very pleased and will use them again.

Swear to God, below is my transaction with them.

Ordered on 5/2/10. Ordered using EMS, as they gave faster shipping times.

On 5/5/10, recieved email that my order shipped.

RECEIVED today, 5/7/2010, so 5 days from order to receipt.

My only issue with them and without giving too many details, the package had a slip on it much like a FedEx slip, which listed exactly what was in the box. Is that normal? I also had to sign, which is no big deal, but the slip on box bugs me a bit.

Same here. Always consistent. The only delays I've ever had were external such as postal strikes, and the recent volcanic eruption which disrupted mail transportation.

When I started ordering last September between 12 and 21 days from order to doorstep was the norm, but nowadays it is consistently 7-8 days from order to doorstep, and has been like that since January.

They also have been much better with emails since the newyear. I always receive an order processed, and then order dispatched email. That was not always the case before.

Also I now have more free pill dispensers and pens than I know what to do with :-)

I don't think the British folks would be getting their meds from this place too soon. Because of the British Airwars strike planned for the next month.

Yes, I put in an order with them today.

I'm wondering if it will be in the UK before the 18th of May, which is the first day of the strike.

Also I just got a delivery in from them today.
Well, Actually a card :-(((

They have charged me for CUSTOMS DUTY on the package!! Argh!!!

So the Royal Mail can't re-deliver from my local office until paid. I did so online, and they say it is "in the system".

It can take up to 5 days to re-deliver if paid online.

I've never had this before i.e. an unable to deliver card with a customs fee attached.

I'm a bit upset about all of this, both the extra cost and the annoying complications involved.

Has anybody in the UK had that experience before ?? Is this a new trend, or is it just perhaps a random thing that happens every so often to an individual ??

I've never had a problems with customs before, this seems very odd. They normally put on the customs declaration sticker that the contents is worth $14.00 (well below the customs duty fine). Java Juice when you receive your package please let us know what the customs label states. I wonder if they opened the package and checked the contents. I'm getting worried now:(

You get a form through the door filled in and ticked with the required amount:
It's the same one for if there is insufficient postage.

http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/conte...ee2pay_redirect

You either have to go to the Post office to pay it, or online, or by affixing stamps to the value. I paid it online and it should be re-delivered within 5 working days.

Nor I, ever. It is rather disconcerting to say the least. my previous packages have stated $20-$25 value. The one sitting at my local sorting office should be in the same range.

However I think customs just think of a number based on, oh, the phase of the moon. I was charged £13.68 of which I understand £8 is a minimum standard customs administration fee.

Reading and asking around on the subject. I think that I've just been unlucky, and have been singled out this time to pay duty.

I know the stated amounts on the label are lower than the minimum taxable amounts, but I don't know that it will stop C&E slapping a charge on it if they feel like it. Gonna argue with them? :-)))

I've no idea if they opened it or not. The RM have it now, I've paid the fee, and I'm expecting it back at my door ASAP.

Wonder if I'll get hammered on my next order, which is aready in at UP?? Hmmm..

im sure they can use other airlines other than british airways.

and as for customs, they didnt need to open my package,it had clearly stated on the label 'contents' etilaam'

it must be an uncontrolled substance

There are 10 daily flights from HKG.

Apart from British Airways, the following
All fly daily HKG to LHR:

Cathay Pacific, Air New Zealand, Virgin Atlantic, and Qantas Airlines.

Only 3 out of 10 of the daily HKG-LHR flights are BA flights. Do you think there might be a bias for using BA for airmal from HK to LHR?

Mine, as I said earlier, came with the exact contents of package, the meds names, the strength and how many, listed on the customs sheet. That realy bothered me so I emailed them to ask why.

Luckily, I don't order anything of any real value except to me and my shipments are quite boring, but it really bothered me that the names of the meds were on the outside of the package.

Anyway, they told me that because I used the express shipping option, they have to declare exactly what is in the package and if I did not want that listed on future packages, to use the non-express shipping option where they will just put "health products" on customs delcaration sheet.

I dont think using Express shipping makes any difference to delivery as normal shipping takes 4-7 days, so some UK folks claim!.

P.S when they say contact us for Availability on some of their meds does that mean they are out of-stock????????????.......

Hmmmm, I ordered a week ago. And it after paid with a cc, it said ordered processed, payment accepted. But ever since then, I've tried logging on to check my order status and it doesn't accept my log in and pass. I've emailed them, but still waiting. Also do they send confirmation emails after an order is made?

I don't know but did try to contact them to see if something that had that message was in stock, but I never got an answer, so chose another strength and will just have to double up.

I got both an order confirmation email and then when it shipped, a ship notice.

UPDATE: After getting the card through the door and paying the fee, I had the package redelivered today, Sat 15th. At least it came back to me fast.

The amount of goods I ordered were small, on earlier orders of this size it would be normally listed as, say, 20USD max, maybe less.

In fact it was 1 box of zopiclone "filler" order just to make up my reserves. It wasn't my bad luck to be picked for a fee, oh no:

SOMEBODY PUT 50USD AS THE DECLARED VALUE !! :-((

This was hard printed onto the usual stuck on customs label that UP send out from HK, not manually written. Usual generic products type description of contents etc.

Nothing out of the ordinary, except the flaming value of the order!!

The package was not opened. It still had the clear tape on the box. It had a customs label with CHARGE and all the standard blah blah details of what I owed them and why written on it, stuck to front side of the box. I truly hope this isn't a regular thing in the future, could get expensive. frown

I would e-mail UP politely about it, but I'm afraid they might think me some form of troublemaker and stop conducting business with me.

** big sigh **

yeah i paid extra £20 for EMS and it till took over 7 days to arrive even though they emailed me to say it had been sent (4 days before it had actually been shipped) i have complained.

also the fact that they write on the package the contents,in my case etilaam (etizolam 1mg) which incidentally didnt do any thing for me,10 mg didn t touch me!

although i do have high benzo tolerance surely 10mg should 'touch' me?

I thought I would report that I successfully ordered Isotroin (a generic form of isotretinoin produced in India), and it arrived today in California. I ordered through United Pharmacies (apparently based in Hong Kong) on May 17, and received the postal slip today, only 5 days later. I did choose EMS, but I'm still kind of amazed at the speed of delivery! Unfortunately, I missed the delivery, and will have to pick up on Monday from the Post office.

So far so good. Of course, the real test will begin when I examine the contents of the package, and then begin taking the drug to verify its efficacy. Will update later.
