Hi Bobz, do you mind me asking what dose of Dihyd you have been taking regular for over a year?
I take the 60mg tablets but try not to take more than 3-4 tablets a week. It means often living with pain on the other days but I am afraid of getting hooked on the stuff. When pain in back is bad I'll take two days in a row, sometimes x 2 60mg tabs.

LOL. I have about 10 of those NEW orders listed in my order history too. I kept checking on the cc processor every 30 minutes until it finally came back up and the order went thru.
Approved, then payed hours later...only once hopefully...:)
I wish we could delete all of those other NEW orders in our history that aren't real.
They changed cc processor companies with the new site I noticed too. Hope it isn't "wobbly" too often.

Others talking about tolerance...I've noticed that to a certain degree too. But so far, 120mg a day is working for me.
Plus I've saved alot of money not having to buy street priced hydros....( no insurance or doc anymore ).
Soma is the med that I really have to watch carefully with intake/tolerance. It builds SO fast. But that's another topic for another thread.

I have an order from 3/1 that I'm waiting on, figure I'll wait a few more days. I live on the east coast and I usually get things very fast due to my location.

I take the 30mg but sometimes two and I never exceed 60mg per day. It has been a big help in my life. Sounds like you are being smart and playing it safe. I have gone off it a couple of different times for up to 30 days but experienced relatively no WD other than a day or two of fatigue. If you are seriously concerned about addiction to it I would recommend "testing the water" a bit when you have a supply and see how it goes. If you experience WD and are uncomfortable then you can ween yourself down with existing supply. It won't be super tough, granted it is an opiate although a relatively mild one.

Hey I started feeling worrisome about my last post. DHC and all opiate pain killers should always be respected. I didnt mean to make it sound like it could be taken freely without caution. After I posted I was out in me community garden and I thought "oh no what if Silver gets addicted to DHC" so I ran back in here and logged on again. This may read as a silly post to you folks but that is just me, always concerned about me fellow peeps. Be careful with your meds, these chemicals are here to help us not hinder.

It took 10 days for me to receive. 7-10 days to the USA seems about normal.

I took 2 120mg DHC every day for about 3 weeks for lower backpain wich a doctor says does not exist when I stopped I deffinately felt like krap for a week nausea,sweating chills,general flu like simptoms but with a tad of deppression, been through it before so I knew what I was in for,gotta watch DHC it deffinatly is habit forming,sometimes it is better to bear the pain unless you have a strong constitution for krappy feeling when you stop taking it. When ever I stop a pain med after a period of time I mentally prepare myself for whats to come.

And taper off over 10 to 20 days.

Thanks Bobz, I try to keep a check on it by not taking it every day and never continuously but the lure of the drug is definitely there with me. My healthy fear of addiction to the stuff outweighs sufffering through pain for a day or two to allow for gaps in between taking it.

Thank God for pres4u so I don't have to worry about justifying my usage or explaining to a GP.

I guess everyone is different, I was taking 120mg of hydro per day and taperd down to 15mg/day over about 6 weeks. All my back pain returned but I had no withdrawal or addiction problems at all.

Thanks Brigid. I finally managed to get it through. I hate to say it, but I still have no idea what the problem was. I tried three different Visa's all from the same bank (three separate accounts). The third one finally went through. The protection measures they put on these things can be a blessing or a curse.
