I just had an ordering experience so unpleasant, I actually took the time to register so that I could post it. The company we had used so reliably the last several years closed without warning, & after reading a few reviews on this site, I thought we'd give 'Friendly' a try. The online process was smooth, & similar to our usual company's, so I was reassured. Until they called me at work to confirm the order. Which was fine. But then they insisted that I repeat aloud not only the dollar amount, but the medication I had ordered, & the quantity. They then demanded that I give my credit card over the phone. I asked why & they said 'to verify it'. I explained that my credit card company used ShopSafe for security & so a one-time number would be generated each time. They insisted. I said I wasn't comfortable giving that info over the phone, certainly not at work. I was told to call back later, & they'd return my call within 10 min.

When I did so, I was asked for my address & CC info AGAIN...then told by that person they 'didn't have the training to verify' & a 3rd person called me back...40 min later. And guess what? This 'qualified' person asked for my CC/address info - over the phone - a 3rd time. Ridiculous. He told me that all calls were recorded - oh great, so that really makes me want to shout out my CC info for all recorded posterity - I canceled my order on the spot, then logged into my CC account & canceled the SafeShop authorization, which I'm now grateful for. Each person told me that it was "for my protection". Uh, no. The SafeShop is for my protection. Asking me to give my CC number & defeat that protection - 3 times - is more like being mugged. Apparently, I was just very lucky in my previous (random) choice of online pharmacy. I can't believe this is what our health insurance system has brought me to.

WOW! They usually just ask for the last 4 digits of your card. They never asked about the med, amount, etc when they had to verify me when they started doing that.

I've gotten ahold of some not-so-smart CS reps lately too.

Is this site safe to order from currently? I would hate for my cc to be fraudulently used phone.

Hi, everybody! What's a good source for these one-time virtual CC's? I tried to make a purchase for another vendor and my card was declined. My bank permitted me to use the card before at this vendor's website but now they won't because it's out of the country. I'm thinking that a virtual card would be the best way to go for a number of reasons.

I've read a lot of good things about greendot. Check the fine print of any card you look at though. Good luck hon.

I've heard that many USA virtual cc's can only be used if the charge occurs inside of the USA. Is this true for greendot? I looked on their website and couldn't find information on this.

90 Watson $79 give or take a few cents after $20 discount. Roughly 88cents per pill. I could get cheaper if I were able to wait 10-20 days, but I totally ran out waiting for BM to come back

Spazmatica,
Did you get your order the next day? Haven't heard if you did or not.

I think FC is having problems finding participating pharmacies right now. The drug I am trying to order has been out of stock for a month. This is the second time this has happened in the last 2 months and prior to that, it never happened in 4 years or ordering.

OK, but that doesn't explain the fact that I received an order from them on Monday, and then days later a double charge shows up on my CC (and no shipment)........before I call my bank I want to see if I can find out if they actually ship. I don't mind paying if I actually get what they charged me for. I'll just put it aside so I don't have to order next time

Sweetz, I looked at the website for B of A's Shop Safe program and it looks like you have to have an account with them in order to use this service. Is that correct? I don't have a Bank of America account so I guess I won't be able to use them. I've heard about Green Dot only being usable within the U.S., too. The search continues!

Soma QUESTION: I purchased the Watson Soma from FC in the past and found that they didn't work well for me. Probably just my individual body chemistry... When my doctor prescribes it for me, the pills (generic) are stamped with the number 2410 and a stylized V. Has anyone ever ordered the non-Watson Soma from Friendly and can you tell me if they resemble the ones I just described? I'll give it another shot if they're the same, as the ones from my MD are great. Thanks!

I've never used that feature before. I just use my debit/credit card. I've been double billed a few times, but I've used them for AGES and mistakes happen. I haven't ever had weird charges or anything.

I can only speak for my experience. But, I DO ORDER FROM THEIR WEBSITE, not the links they send to email. The email they have is outdated anyways, so I don't get the emails. yay!

good luck hon

I took my chances and just used my regular card. Heck, if anyone tried to make any unauthorized purchases, they'd be disappointed - I have very limited funds in my account anyway! LOLOL BTW, everything went smoothly; I ordered over the weekend and it showed up yesterday, all accounted for. I've lost track but that puts me at approximately 10/10 with no problems. ~knock on wood~

I have been getting the Qualitest Labs Soma for some time now from Friendly ( the ones with the V and the 2410 ) and they are just as good as (DAN )or Watson Somas as far as I am concerend. That of course is just my opinion...

But I'm sticken too it...Lol

it depends on which pharm they send it to and which generic they have. i hate the watson brand of what I get, the Westward brand is much better, for me anyways. I don['t get Soma. I swear when my doc gives it to me, it does nothing.

Just got a flawless order too, yesterday.

Ive found the only brand that has any affect on me is Watson brand......I get a script and the pharmacy only has the qualitest or WW and they dont do a thing. I suppose its a matter of preference but if I ever buy Soma watson is the only one that works for me.

i agree with rose, the watson brand definitely works, others are not as strong. maybe it's body chemistry? regardless, i will stick with watson.

I think it must be individual body chemistry... For example, I've read that some people actually become very highly impaired by Tramadol. My personal experience has been that it doesn't alter my mind OR relieve my pain. I think it's funny that the website for Ultram.com warns that it's possible to abuse this medication; I'd just as soon abuse Tramadol as I would a vitamin E capsule. Interesting how body chemistry can make things so different for people...!

On the same note, my sister says that she prefers, by far, the Watson percocet over any other. Watson fioricet, however, doesn't work for her as well as the West Ward variety. I always thought that was odd/interesting as well!

I agree with he about the brand of fioricet, i have the same experience.

I just got an order yesterday, it was delayed due to stock, but it was worth it since I got the WW brand and there was actually cotton in the bottle, no rattle!

Used Friendly's services. They have a 24 hour phone line.

Ordered Email, pay debit, called to confirm, extended $20.00 DISCOUNT shipped overnite standard

No problems, Dan the Man Watson Soma; 90 for 79 bucks.

Only need to take a 1/2 tab. VA prescribes Methocarbomal.

My stomach thanks me. Methocarbomal is quite nauseating. Works half as well with 2/3 more medicine/poison in the body.

Phone call from Friendly was to verify my info to authorize my card. After that all emails no problem. No double charges.

My back thanks me. I thank you for steering me there.
