It probably depends on what you posted.

Loc: where did I park?
there are many reasons that could happen, and it does not necessarily mean you said something wrong.

it can be as simple as 'Off topic' for that particular thread. don't worry over it.

after regularly posting a couple years, I still have it happen.
before posting, be sure to check the content and the topic, and the previous posters content.
could be you were casualty by 'others' fault.

The syringe thread was removed.

I assume Admin finds it inappropriate.

His board, his Rules. I am ok w/that. I get stuff deleted all the time. Better than being banned, or being given a time out, that's what I think.

I have been lucky here and have never been not able to log in. Thanks Admin.

But on other boards, I have been timed-out and w/out any warning. God, I hate that, make me feel like I am 5.

I like how Admin runs this board. Except for the fact the iVet is still here. But free speech and all that.

Disclaimer: All the following is meant 100% respectfully.

I have noticed that a few of my posts - across various sub-forums have been deleted. Other users report that specific sentences in their posts have been deleted.

If posts and or sentences were out of context or - obviously - inapproriate, I would understand this without flinching. But a few of my posts, which seem to have somehow been deleted, surely were not so. A specific post in the Shaz-thread comes to mind.

I am a tad worried about this policy/approach. I, for one, would definitely prefer warnings/infractions/whatever so I was made aware of why and how my post violated the Rules. This random deletion of isolated posts, etc. I do not like. Ultimatetly, I would simply stop posting as a result. I have read the Rules, but clearer communication would be nice.

thank you for reading - admin.

@hommus:

Please continue posting - whatever might happen in future.
There are not too many (Shaz) customers from Europe, thats why I think we should keep us - and all board members - up to date.

I will, no worries. In the past, the few posts of mine that were deleted, were arguably out of context (i.e. we ended up discussing certain IOPs in a Welcome-thread, as I recall it.)

I have no problem with the fact that these posts were removed. Its stated clearly in the Rules that the Administrator reserves the right to do some house cleaning.

I just think it is weird that the post in the Shaz thread was removed, and you seemed to say that a sentence was removed from your post? Could be there is a technical explanation - when you look at the main thread in the "do you know a vendor that should be blacklisted" sub-forum, many many posts are edited/deleted, but it is always stated when and why. That's how I prefer it.

You might be right with this, I remember I couldnt reach the forum for about 15 minutes yesterday. And I will read the Rules again, too (-:
