I will open up this tragic and widespread downer topic by stating that I, after giving ten hours a day on an independent contractor position since September '09 have bid adieu to the demands, out of pocket expenses, nasty temperaments of those in this really small office I inhabited, giving 40% of my harned earned income for their agreed upon services.
I have reached my level of disgust, plan to take at least a week off to get rid of the asthma and resiratory infection that caused me to "ask" for a day off, if they would "kindly" reschedule clients for another day, giving them a day early to accomplish this most onerous task.
If anyone else would like to share their recent experiences with their own mindless, greedy robobosses or robomanagers, the stage is set for you. Feel no fear, I have yet to tell you the asinine threats this car mechanic turned "lawyer" had up his sleeve, but of course I invited him wholeheartedly to share with all who are interested whatever he threatened to reveal had been taperecorded, wiretapped, used to infringe on his clients and staff's civil rights and right to private conversations.
So please friends, with admin's permission to delve into one cause for high unemployment rates caused by threats, fear, damage to one's perceived competency or the myriad manipulations of these mental midgets, please share your stories and help us all gain strength and insight to continue until victory belongs to the strong and the mighty. Or us, your average joes keeping our heads above water. Thanks for the courage it takes to reveal such personal problems.
I think many, many of our members could benefit from shared stories and outcomes.

I got a tracking number for a shipment the other day, and I have been keeping up with the package on USPS. It was delivered to somewhere in Indiana and I do not live in Indiana.
Anyways, what does this mean?
Did USPS screw up and send my package to the wrong place?
Or did I get a false tracking number to begin with?

Probably being overly cautious, but is there any reason NOT to go directly to the post office to pick-up a package?
I recieved a slip saying I could sign and authorize for redelivery (I live in an apartment building and I guess they wouldn't leave it in the public area) OR pickup tomorrow morning at the post office.

I had an experience trying to use WU to pay for an order from a certain vendor.
They called me after I made the transfer saying that they couldn't let it go through until I provided some "receiver identification". Basically they wanted the receiver's date of birth, phone number, and/or government ID number.
At first I said I did not have this information on hand. But then I realized that WU can't possibly know if the phone number / DoB is correct or not. So I Googled the area code for the location of this vendor, and made up a fake phone number and DoB. Called back and all was good; the transaction was sent through.
Anyone else have this experience? This was the first time for me and I have used WU probably 100 times. They must just be trying to make you prove that you know the receiver... even though this "security measure" can be easily circumvented.

i use moneygram and use it alot as i feel it is a better service to use and cheaper than wu. i saw where someone had posted that you couldnt see your transactions online. Well you can, all you have to do is sign up for a money gram rewards card. they will give you a mg rewards number which you can fill out on the top of your transfer slip, and after 2 transactions you will begin recieving discounts on transactions. also you can sign into the mg website with the email address and pw you signed up with and it will show the status of the transaction you did. also after reciever picks up funds you will recieve email notifying you.

I am a north american aborigional, so I have citizenship in both canada and the usa. So would it be possible for me to obtain a mailbox somehow in the states? I live 2minutes away from the main boarder and its only about a 10min drive to a fair sized town in maine. Surely there must be someway to pick up my fedex shipments over there and bring them across.
Sorry, but I have more confidence in myself getting these across then in fed-ex....

I am SICK of seeing people lying to others on here about finding a pain clinic in florida to take care of yuor needs.
First off before i say anything else. I am posting this for those who are truly suffering in other states and can not find a Dr who actually gives a damn about anyone but him or her self.
GO to google and type in south florida pain clinic. There are MANY. Exuctive pain in broward country being one who is very understanding. yes, many of these clinics do ON SITE MRI's for you.Many if not most have in house pharmacy to fill the scripts. You are looking at $180.00 office visit, $200.00 MRI and anywhere from $500.00-$1000.00 to get your script filled. A script of 60 Oxy 80's is going to cost somehwere around $950.00
Just go and be truthful and put your faith in god to take care of your pain. Those of you on here that keep belitting others and or lying to people saying they can't find help in florida anymore. GO TO HELL. Who are you to pass judgement on ANYONE? Mind your own damn buisness and keep your mouth shut if you do not like the topic at hand.
those of you/us that are in REAL pain. There is hope for you. Even if you must drive a thousand miles to get your script. It is worth it to live life happy and pain free.Do not pay attention to smart mouth people who look to pass judgement on you or look down on you. They clearly hate themselves or their own life or they would not be so quick to try and make others feel bad about themselves.
God bless and thank you florida for allowing many of us in th union to have a place to come to to be able to live pain free. it means more than you know. Yes, there are a lot of addicts and drug dealers who abuse the system but nothing is perfect and I would prefer to see 10 good honest caring americans find pain reliefe and allow 5 worthless drug dealers to make money than I would prevent the 5 dealers from making money and forcing those 10 good people to suffer and live a miserable life.
Find yourself a clinic and be thankful.Don't abuse it and be humble.

It is not unusual to see IOP's offering meds in large quantities
A 1000 pills normally represent an order of 200 grams of pills or more
Would that weight be buying for personal use or buying to resell or possession or trafficking controlled substances?
The people ordering may order for personal use but the laws of the land may define those quantities as trafficking...
Are people considering such an order aware of what can go wrong?
In many States and countries possession of a certain quantity of controlled substaces is considered traffcking and in many cases there are mandatory sentences for drug traffickers...
What are your toughts and comments on this?
What do you think will happen to someone caught with an envelope containing 1000 diazepam, alprozalam, or any other controlled substance?

This has never happened to me, but in my anal parnoid thinking, do you guys have special places to keep you meds in the house? Most of them come in blister packs, so there's no way you could prove they were yours from a RX. I figure since my computer has all of my ordering info on it and my bank, I'd be busted anyway. Any other ideas on protecting yourself form these we think are scams?
